He’s focused on helping retail partners “win in a normal market” by creating a simple two way value chain, dependable supply and healthy margins for retailers, and affordable luxury mattresses, bases, headboards, and suites for customers who want a premium look without the premium price.
Gary leads with practical coaching and clear, evidence based thinking. The team uses structured check ins and live dashboards to stay grounded in what’s really happening, while careful logistics planning helps maintain a strong fill rate even when conditions are tough.
He stays close to the market and the wider local and international economy through factory visits, customer conversations, and data. Those insights become forecasts, product improvements, and clear roadmaps, so Dreamland grows by helping partners build sustainable, profitable businesses across New Zealand, and grows only when its partners do.

Arthur has led our logistics from day one. He’s the engine behind everything that happens from the moment a container lands, unloading, put away, picking, dispatch, and getting orders out the door.
You’ll usually find him in the warehouse on the forklift, keeping things moving and keeping things right. Arthur knows exactly where every product sits, and he’s the person everyone relies on when a customer needs something urgently or a deadline can’t be missed.

Since making New Zealand her home in 2001, Yoyo has been deeply inspired by the Land of the Long White Cloud. Her friendly personality and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving made her a natural fit for the furniture industry.
Yoyo brings more than 15 years of professional experience to Dreamland, having worked across both retail and wholesale. This well-rounded background gives her a thorough understanding of customer expectations and the finer points of the business.
As Gary’s right hand, Yoyo is dedicated to ensuring that Dreamland customers get exactly what they need and right when they need it.

Mercedes has been part of the New Zealand furniture industry since 2009 and is widely recognised for the way she brings clarity and structure to complex operations. She has a sharp, logical mind and a natural ability to turn busy moving parts into a system that runs smoothly.
Since joining Dreamland, Mercedes has helped lift our capacity, improve fulfilment rates, and raise customer satisfaction, while supporting the day to day execution that turns growth plans into real results.
