Behind the scenes, we supply many of New Zealand’s respected furniture and bedding retailers because they trust us to deliver products that are well designed, great value, and reliably available. That same promise sits at the heart of everything we do.
In 2012, we began in East Tamaki, Auckland, with a focus on bringing well designed mattresses and bedroom furniture to New Zealand homes, without the inflated price tags that often come with “nice” things. Over time, what we built became more than a product range. It became a way of doing things: design led, value driven, and obsessed with the details that make sleep feel better every single night.
Dreamland is New Zealand-owned, led by the founder, Gary. Born in Hong Kong and raised in New Zealand, Gary grew up with two things side by side: a fascination with how things are made, and a deep appreciation for systems that work smoothly. That balance still shapes Dreamland today, products that feel considered, backed by a business that cares about reliability and service.
Sleep isn’t “downtime.” It’s where your body resets. It’s where your mind clears. It’s where recovery happens, whether you’re training, working long hours, raising kids, or just trying to feel more like yourself again.

We design and select products that help people wake up feeling better through better support, comfort, and long term durability.
We work with long term manufacturing partners overseas and we don’t treat that lightly. We choose factories we trust, we visit regularly, and we push for better consistency, better materials, and better outcomes. Whenever possible, we support more responsible sourcing and ethical practices because how something is made matters.

As a business-to-business enterprise, we recognise that our furniture is only as good as our customer service. We see our clients as business partners and our sales representatives travel throughout the North Island to understand each retailer’s market and needs. Email and phone service is reinforced by regular face-to-face meetings over a drink or a meal. We’re not afraid of feedback, because it helps us to fine tune our customer support.
